My Grandma's Portrait

I just got the Charcoaled Portrait of my Grandma that will serve as a gift from my uncle. One thing I could say is the guy who did this is great. Every details including the dress was virtually restored (the photo was older than me if I’m not mistaken). And it is relatively cheaper than the other Portrait Guys in the Mall. I highly recommend this painter.

His stall is located at the 2nd floor of St. Francis Mall in Ortigas, the Lady (Ms. Zen) is very friendly and accommodating. You can also get discounts if you ask of course. You can contact her with this #: 09172726626

WordCamp Philippines 2008

logosmtrans_wordcamp.png What can I say, I rarely go to gatherings like this but I really enjoyed it. And because I’m still a WordPress noob, I learned new stuffs. I also understood that WordPress isn’t just for blogs, it can also be used for Corporate Sites. Imagine that some of the US Government sites uses this platform and that is really something. Some topics I attended were from Mr. Jayvee Fernandez entitled: Blogging 102 – Basics and Beyond. I also attended Mr. Hans Koch‘s talk about WordPress for Corporate Sites and WordPress & SEO. I really learned some stuffs.

Lunch Break, thanks to Chowking we got free Food (and I also owe Richard from Chowking Shaw for returning my wallet). And for Spot.Ph for the dessert.

And for the main event, Mr. WordPress ( Matt Mullenweg ) himself talked about the future of WordPress and I’m really excited about the upcoming version, its a big change. :) There are also other speakers like the cute Ms. Aileen Apolo who talked about Google Analytics and Regnard Raquedan who talked about WordPress and SEO.

I Finally Got it!

And after many years of waiting, I finally bought my own personal domain. I have always wanted to buy this domain before but someone had it already. Its a good thing that me and my friends checked this domain if its available. :)

I’m Mark Z. Lagman 23 y/o Filipino.I also play Basketball so those of you guys who wants to play, just invite me. :) Especially if the court is along Makati. My roots are from Pampanga but I stayed here at Makati for around 7-8 years because of studies and work.

A huge fan of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao! And I heard that he and De La Hoya will fight this coming December. Damn, that’s a must see fight for everyone! Even though Manny is a huge underdog on this fight, I’ll still support him. :)

As I’ve said earlier, I’m also a Huge Basketball Fan. Mr. Elton Brand (EB) of the 76′ers is connected to Our Company and I’m really proud of it.
